Hello, fellow travel enthusiasts!

Pack your bags – we’re heading to one of the most breathtaking places on Earth: Kyrgyzstan.

Join Markus from Germany and Miraida from Kyrgyzstan, passionate explorers of towering mountains, hidden gems, and untouched nature.

Together, we’ll guide you through the heart of Central Asia – where adventure meets authenticity

Miraida

I’m from the warm and sunny south of Kyrgyzstan, but for the past five years, I’ve called Bishkek my home.

I’m a professional linguist, fluent in five languages, and a lifelong traveler with a passion for discovering new cultures – from the villages of France to the streets of Rome.

Kyrgyzstan, though, holds a special place in my heart.

Together, we’ve been running a cozy language school for over a year – helping students learn languages and follow their dreams abroad.

Now, we’re opening a new chapter: guiding travelers from around the world through the wild, soulful, and unforgettable places of Kyrgyzstan.

We believe in slow travel, deep connections, and showing you the real magic of this country – not just the postcard version.

Markus

Originally from Cologne, I came to Kyrgyzstan over two years ago as a volunteer – and never left.

Captivated by the untouched nature, the kindness of the people, and the richness of the culture, I made Kyrgyzstan my second home.

I’m currently learning both Kyrgyz and Russian, and in my free time, I’m always somewhere in the mountains – exploring the hidden beauty of this land.

Who are the kyrgyz people?

Issyk-Kul Lake — The Second Largest Alpine Lake
Issyk-Kul is the world’s second-largest saline lake and the tenth-largest lake by volume. It never freezes, even in winter, thanks to its salinity and geothermal activity.

Nomadic Heritage
Kyrgyz people have a rich nomadic culture dating back thousands of years. Many traditions, like living in yurts (traditional tents), horseback riding, and eagle hunting, are still alive today.

Eagle Hunting Tradition
One of the oldest and rarest forms of hunting is practiced here — using trained golden eagles to hunt foxes and hares. This tradition has been passed down for over 2,000 years.

The Silk Road Passed Through Kyrgyzstan
Ancient trade routes linking the East and West ran through Kyrgyzstan. You can still visit historical sites like caravanserais and old trading towns along the Silk Road.

Thousands of Alpine Lakes
Besides Issyk-Kul, Kyrgyzstan boasts thousands of alpine lakes with crystal-clear water, making it a paradise for hikers and nature lovers.

Kyrgyzstan Is One of the Most Sparsely Populated Countries in the World
With a population of about 7 million spread across a large mountainous territory, you can experience vast wilderness and untouched nature.

Hospitality and Tea Culture
Kyrgyz people are famous for their hospitality. Offering guests “kumis” (fermented mare’s milk) and traditional tea is an important custom.
